  • BENEDICTINE COLLEGE
    		Benedictine College is a four-year, Catholic, Benedictine, residential, coeducational college that provides an outstanding liberal arts education for students of all backgrounds and faiths. Heir to the 1500 years of Benedictine dedication to learning, Benedictine College was established in 1971, when St. Benedict's College (founded in 1858) and St. Scholastica College (1924) merged.
    Benedictine College is located in Atchison, Kansas on a beautiful campus on the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River.
    Benedictine's ethnically diverse undergraduate student population of about 1,300 students hail from 39 states, Puerto Rico, and 21 foreign countries.
    Benedictine College boasts of an alumna who is a Nobel Peace Laureate.  Dr. Wangari Maathai was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004 for her contributions to sustainable development, democracy and peace.

    MAKSORA is a Non Governmental Organization founded in Novosibirsk in 2000.It is an active member of AVSI Network. The Network, created by the Italian Foundation AVSI, is constituted by 27 non profit organizations worldwide that share AVSI method.
    Since its foundation,
    MAKSORA has designed and implemented many cultural, social and health projects in the Novosibirsk Region, aiming at supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population and strengthening the local community. As MAKSORA considers education as an essential element of development projects, professional and vocational training are at the core of every project implemented.
    MAKSORA often collaborates with the most important universities and academies of Novosibirsk and partners with several non for profit organizations both Russian and international and collaborates with public or private organizations on the territory.
